- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 40 oz can mild chili beans
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp chili powder
- Cook ground beef and onions in a frying pan.
- Drain grease from beef and onions.
- Mix cooked beef, onions, and remaining ingredients into a big pot.
- Heat to boiling over medium-high heat.
- Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
You can also opt to add in your favorite toppings. We like cheddar cheese added on top of our chili.
